Our beautiful village is situated upstream Vindelälven about 200 km west of Umeå and 100 km north of Lycksele.

From Umeå you follow road 363 towards west.

From Skellefteå you follow road 370 towards west and pass Malå. Go to road 363 at Holmfors.

From Lycksele you follow road 365 to Skellefteå. When you pass Vindelälven you turn to the west and follow road 363.

From Östersund you follow road 45 to Sandsele. If you turn to the right in the beginning of the village there is a gravelled road straight to Råstrand. If you choose to take off after Vindelälven you follow road 363 towards west a couple of miles.

From Tärnaby and Norway you follow E12 to Storuman. There you turn left and follow road 45 towards north.

From Arvidsjaur you follow road 45 to Sorsele. Turn left at the road 45/363 and follow road 363 about 50 km towards east. There is also a possibility to go to the left in Slagnäs and go on a smaller road via Gargnäs.
